Event Details
This introductory course details the use of all the tools in the wood shop. Under the instruction of our Shop Master Seamus Holley, students will learn basic safety procedures for operating power hand tools and larger equipment, how to navigate our machinery, and have the opportunity to test all equipment with our expert's supervision. For the last hour of class, students will then explore basic techniques and practice using machinery. This three-hour class is required for those new to a wood shop environment.
All equipment and materials will be provided. This course is open to all ADX members at $160, or for $200 nonmembers (includes one month of Basic Membership). To sign up for membership, please call 503.915.4342 or
